I considered myself lucky to get my hands on a scarce ‘Purple Haze’ tomato plant. Naturally; I plant it, and a storm comes along several weeks later and that was the only plant out of 125 that had branches broken by the wind. I put both broken branches in vases of water, and let them root for a couple of weeks. I now have THREE very healthy Purple Haze plants.

Whew you were a lucky one.
I bought this little patio tomato plant for 1.50 last ones at Walmart. I stuck in a pot I had and watered it and now have over 30 tomatoes coming along. One darn branch broke off with a lot of tiny tomatoes that want to be ripe. Invested little but darn love the results so far!
Going to try to save the branch so fruit will will ripen.
