Wondering what to do with a branch that broke off patio tomato plant. Probably has over 20 cherry tomatoes on the branch that are green. I stuck the branch back into the soil for moisture until I can figure out how to save the tomatoes long enough for them to ripen.
Any hope in this endeavor or should I do something else?

Tomato 'branches' will root. Pull off any leaves near the breakage and stick at least IF possible 4" of the branch in water. You might need to 'stake' the branch but try and get the exposed break into water ASAP.
