Not much to report other than we went to the Humboldt County Fair in Ferndale Ca today. They were judging Dairy Goats today...lots of FFA Dairy Goats...

We hit our county fair last week; and the neighboring Custer County fair yesterday. Okay, okay; day before yesterday, now.

Always fun and always learn something...like that everyone else had a rotten year for potatoes, not just us.

I dug about 10' of row today, and got a grand total of what came off a single plant last year. One more 12 foot row left, and if I had any sense (and no fear of Mrs AR), I'd just till'em under and forget it.

Off to a free hog roast tomorrow, followed by a moving picture show; then, refreshed, once more into the ~~breach~~ garden.

How's your skunk situation?
