Absolutely. Me and my zombie defense force got together years and years ago and bought a bunch of Mosin-Naganats, about 20 or so for handing out to the neighbors in case the zombies come our way. Id rather the liberals in the suburb next to us have Mosins rather than, like the British, use only harsh language.

That way, when the zombies get to us, at least there will be less of them.

Mosins are great guns. Don't count them out to hand out or trade. They are a force multiplier if you can arm your neighbors.

I’m shooting the liberals first, even before the zombies.
Hand out Mosins to liberals and they may shoot you in the back, they will help deplete food supplies rapidly, and will compromise your position when cornered by the zombies. If they survive, they will also reproduce.

All the above scenarios are unacceptable for the well being of any chance for a restored republic.
