NEW YORK (AP) -- The TBS network is canceling George Lopez's nightly talk show.
The network says Lopez's Thursday night show will be the final one. "Lopez Tonight" is in its second season.

The only reason this program has lasted as long as it has is because of its supposed appeal to a latin (or whatever today’s term is) constituency. The man is unfunny. He’s the most awkwardly unfunny comedic presence since Chevy Chase hosted a show.
Yeah, in an airport I was subjected to his interview with P. Morgan on CNN. He said he wanted politicians with experience in politics and would move to Canada if Palin were elected. Well George, don’t wait.
Good, now they can cancel Conan. Whatever Conan had when he was at NBC is completely lost on his TBS show.
Anybody have Conan’s ratings?
His sitcom was funny, mostly because of a good cast. But he is a huge jerk when not on script. Reminds me of somebody.
Lopez is a comic? I thought he was just a highly paid A-hole.
George Lopez is the black hole of funny. Nothing funny can escape his suck.
Yeah that is why I referenced Canada because I heard what that sack of nothing said. He is such an epic failure, just like the guy he voted for

I called this when they started promo-ing his show 2 years ago.
He’s just not funny. The whole thing hit me as affirmative action late night comedy. Like most other AA recipients, he just couldn’t deliver the goods.
His mother on the show was a hoot. That was the only saving grace of the show. The Cuban father-in-law was cool too, he regularly took shots at Castro.
Well, there you go, George. Looks like it’s time to get a head start on that packing for your one way trip to Canada.

But he can always look at the bright side, his talk show outlasted Chevy Chase’s.
Now he will have time to line up another Kidney donor to replace the one his Ex Wife gave him after it stops working.
Good...he stinks.
