I will make a wager with you if the moderator allows [probably not allowed!], your $100 dollars to my $1,000 that if you check the primary elections of 1982 that in Chicago's 23rd ward/50th precinct that my mother, father, and I were the only three Republicans [claimed at the poll]. I might lose if Alex [old guy across the street who came from the communist Check republic] was still alive. Before me he and his wife were the only two, but I think they died between 1980 and 1982. I remember my brothers laughing say that after all the work I did there were only three Republicans.
