I am too ... I know the young-ins is out to get me. They get to pick my nursing home. They remind me quite often of that fact.
Nonsense. My mother fought some epic battles with nursing homes that she felt were not taking proper care of my grandmother.
I would hate to go in a home, and I’d hate to put a relative in one. To me, nursing homes symbolize death. Going in one is saying in essence “My life is finished. Time to curl into a ball and die.”
