I always thought Oswald was framed. He coukd have equiped himself with a much better weapon. And if you wrote a novel in which you had the villin equiped with a Carcano rife the publisher would have said change the weapon, no one will believe that. Also a magizine published photos several years later which showed people pointing to the grassy knoll and police running towards it.
The only thing I am still trying to resolve in my mind about how this assassination went down pertains to the gun and the timing of the shots. I heard a ex-military ballistics expert claim that there is absolutely no way in hell that the best marksmen in the world could re-load and aim that gun in the amount of time between shots. According to this fellow, it is a physical impossibility. I cannot remember the exact number of seconds he said it took vs. the time between shots.
That's something I would like to hear explained to me. I'm no expert so I'm sure someone out there can explain it better.
