As the vet would say - everything. Most incorrigible dog he’s seen.

Tara is allergic to animal protein and just about every airborne item there is. She is a very expensive mess - but somehow, we keep her pretty.

I think God wanted her to come to a sucker like me, because no sane person would put up with it - and mated me up with a husband who wants to do everything to keep her going.

Thanks for the compliments!

LOL! Sorry..I can see how it would wear you down but if you hadn’t stepped up to the plate or were of a different caliber and gave her away...well she probably wouldn’t be here now. You would think that they would have allergy shots for dogs by now. I mean humans have them.

Anyway thanks for sharing your beautiful family. :)

I never thought of allergy’s with my lab, but the new vet said allergies act different with dogs....he said they lick their paws alot...surprised me cause pepper is always licking her paws...she was put on a gluten free dog food and that helps. He said I could buy it from him but instead gave me the name of 4 gluten free dog foods on the market...she is on blue buffalo feed now. He also has her on benadryl 75 mg twice a day...she rarely licks herself anymore so it must be working...allergies could also be part of the problem with her ear/yeast problem..
