This is Minette, my sweet rescue kitteh.
She only has half a tail.
She is the best kitteh, ever!
When I was recovering from surgery, she would curl up on me a be a "nurse kitteh".
She did the same for my husband when he was recovering from cancer surgery.
This is Jake.
He was abandoned by one of my tenants.
The vet thinks he's half Boxer and half Great Dane.
Minette is gorgeous. I love the ‘half’ tail...just adds to her character and Jake...what a handsome guy. I can see the Great Dane but not the Boxer part.
Most people don’t realize how nurturing Cats can be. You and your husband know. Same around here, if I’m ill or in the past had a badly infected tooth from a bridge put in by a quack. Smokey stayed by my side 24/7.

I have a orange Tabby named Sarah. One night I got the flu and was barely able to make it to the bathroom to upchuck.
While I was barfing, I heard Sarah in the hallway outside the bathroom door. She started puking as well.
I started to laugh and thought, Now theres a friend.
And she knows when it Friday.She runs around the house when her people get home and starts clowning about.
Cats and dogs..where would be be without them?
