Am in DC tonight with old network friends and fiends.
The word in DC is that John Kerry is working the media HARD to try to get himself back in headlines.
Kerry still wants very much to be Prez. He is promoting the idea that, politically, Obama is a "dead man walking."
Kerry claims he can save the Dem party by running in the primaries to the LEFT of Obama.... and be elected in both the primaries and the general!
Idiocy... and old political news hands agree!

Doubtful. Wife Terri Heinz is battling breast cancer, for one thing. For another, his running mate Johnny is going on trial in a few months and could be in federal prison in 2012.
Wouldn’t that be something? Obama would demolish Kerry. Kerry has the substance of Max Headroom.
The only Dem who could beat Obama is his scullery maid.
He wouldn’t be bad as POTUS either. After all, he was in Vietnam.

Anyone running to the ‘left’ of Obama would first of all probably be posturing (how do you get to the left of Obama?) And secondly helping him out by positioning him as more ‘moderate’.

A Boston Cop pulls Kerry over, approaches the vehicle and before he can address him, Kerry pulls the window down and exclaims: “Do know who I am?”
The cop responds: “Obviously sir, you are an amnesia victim, so if you show me your driver’s license and vehicle registration we’ll figure out who you are and we’ll let everybody know.
