It is back to the scene of "The Moonshine Matter" in Kennett, Missouri, for Johnny Dollar. Charles Kingsley St. Clair, of Providential Insurance Company , calls Johnny. Upha Krump is the latest victim in 20 Mile Swamp country. Upha had been planning to marry Cass Dingle, who is still alive, although Johnny thought he had been shot dead in the back by Dade Wopperman. Going out into the swamp country shots ring out. It is Cass Dingle, just getting his attention. Cass says to meet him at his cabin. By the time he gets there Cass is tied up, and 250 pound Dan'l Wopperman, and three other guys, Paul, Peter and John, have shot guns on Dollar. The murder of Upha was committed by Dan'l to lure Johnny back to the swamp to get revenge for Dade Wopperman. Cass and Johnny trick Dan'l into thinking that the place will be crawling with state police if Johnny isn't out by 5:00. Dan'l sends Paul, Peter and John to look for the police. With only one guy to confront now, Johnny manages to overcome Dan'l. As the other three return Cass knocks them out with the butt of Dan'l's gun. Matt is persistent and she relents. Kitty accompanies him to the dance, but is humiliated when the "good" people of Dodge insist that she leave. When a man dressed very well hands her two tickets to a concert. Lisa goes to the concert and realizes the man is the great pianist Michael Michailow. She is amazed by him and also flattered. The two go to a fancy restaurant, after Michael asks Lisa to eat with him. Vera Kowalska sees them and is so taken by jealousy that she shoots Michael. Kowalska confesses to the murder. In flashback, we learn that Koslov and Michailow had a love affair, which is the root of her jealousy. (59:42)
