Stick it, Stasi-boy.

At least pretend to fomulate a coherent argument.

My IQ has dropped 10 or 15 points just reading your posts.

Why don't you go kick in somebody's door with your SWAT team buds? I'm sure that somewhere, someone has some "illegal" cleaning products under their sink.

You gave up your liberty long ago, to purchase a little Temporary Safety from the "scourge" of drugs.

BTW - dragging Ronald Reagan into your scummy little nest of Jackboot thugs is pretty low, even for a Stasi creep like you.

If someone announces to the world that they are going to go home and comit a crime, that isn't actually a crime as it creates no tort, what do you want the cops to do, ignore it?

Mind their own business maybe? I know that is a lot to ask in this political climate, but come on. Really?

It is the government's tendency to exploit social issues that concerns me the most.

Agreed. Both sides get mileage from it and therefore it will NEVER go away. The hell with the damage such policies do in terms of corruption and loss of liberty, as long as they get to hold the whip-hand...

I will tell you right now, I am not for legalizing street drugs.

It stopped being about just "street drugs" a long time ago. Vitamins and other supplements are on the block as well now. Sugar and caffeine are up next. "Hard drugs" are tiny percentage of the "drug war".

I'm an on-off again weight lifter and was taking a mild andro-stack before the idiots in Congress outlawed them in 2005 in furtherance of your beloved "drug war". It worked, wasn't a hard-core steroid, and the only side effects were I was leaner and stronger.

Thanks for nothing...

The War on Drugs, at best, is conservatives pandering to old Puritan instincts instead of the wisdom of the Founding Fathers, and at worst, is a mechanism for liberals to enforce political control, once they finally seize power for good.

Well said.

I'm a staunch supporter of the war on drugs.

Which means that your screen-name should make you commit suicide.

The only way to fight a war on drugs is to become a tyrant. How else can you gain enough control over everyone else to keep them from hurting themselves?

lol, I don’t know about your experience with steroids, but my experience was not so good. I was given several doses when six hornets dropped out of a pipe on a gate on my foot and stung all at once. My foot swelled up twice its size and the stings got infected overnight. I was given steroids and antibiotics.

During those 10 days of steroid use my mood swings were such that I stood up at my desk, reached across it, and grabbed one of my bosses who was a whiney liar, by the throat, slammed a steno-pad and pen down in front of her and instructed her that I would no longer take verbal instruction from her and she could communicate with me through written directives.

NOT a really smmoooove move! I was lucky I also worked for her boss who knew my work well, and knew she couldn’t take instructions herself worth a krap, much less give them.

The only person I know who has used steroids continually is a sister who takes them for a herpie infection on her retina which is incurable. She takes the steroid to correct the infection, but then has to take Xanax to calm her down. Both of which have nasty side affects. lol

It’s like what the hey! Which is going to kill you...your pharma or street drug? Street drugs are specifically designed for addiction to mind altering highs of no use to anyone’s health. Many addicts are perfectly healthy.

Yes, your experience was a-typical. Too high a dose. And under a doctors supervision as well... Imagine that.

I cycled on and off for almost 3 years without so much as a pimple or one bout of road rage that didn't deserve a little rage to begin with.

Not all steroids are created equal and the side effects from some are far worse than others. With a real, adult, attitude towards such things, people wouldn't have to opt for the veterinary grade "juice" that has caused so many folks problems over the years.

As for; Street drugs are specifically designed for addiction to mind altering highs of no use to anyone’s health.

The same could be said for caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. How about we let the individual decide? Especially since letting Congress decide such things has proven time and again to be the more damaging of two scenarios.

A minor using drugs is not actually a crime?

I guess you libertarians can’t keep pretending to believe in an age of consent huh?

Can’t wait until people are raising their children as their own sex toys? Hey its their business after all. /sarc

I’m certainly all for individual rights, but there has to be some standard of behavior above animalism, or soon we’ll be living like cannibals. Right now we’re on the edge of anarchy. We’re all starting to arm up. It’s not really a good time to unleash street drugs in the middle of it. Plus, the...it feels good so I wanna do it...got us where we are today. We need people to be alert and paying attention rather than zombied out in la la land. Plus, I find it hard to believe that a little store on the corner taxing and checking ID’s to sell street drugs is going to clean up the mess of corruption we’ve got going on in Washington DC. and on the streets.

Non-sequitur. I'm not interested in gaining 'control over everyone'. I'm interested in prosecuting criminals who violate our drug laws.

"Acts of capitalism between consenting adults."

Let me know if you still suffer some confusion over the definition of "adult".

Hey, if it gets ONE PUSHER off the streets, the Fourth Amendment is great for wiping one's befouled posterior.

Plus, any "large"* sums of cash you have are GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!

BTW, I heard from a neighbor's cousin's brother-in-law that death2tyrants' kid "may" have talked about taking drugs after getting home from school. Maybe we should call somebody...

*"large" to be determined by the government drugwar gunmen & their henchmen in black robes

I’m certainly all for individual rights, but...

If I had a nickel for every time someone walked right up to the edge, saw all that scary freedom out there, and ran back for the shelter of the Nanny State's arm... I could afford to retire quite nicely.

We need a return to taking RESPONSIBILITY for your OWN actions. You get all drugged up and try to rape my daughter? She'll shoot you and thereby ensure the your life goes to serve as a warning to others. You try and "push" your drugs off on my kids, if they don't shoot you... I will. It's a solved problem.

Or we could spend another trillion dollars and have all the same problems we've had over the last 70 years of failed "war".

The post I was referring was about a MINOR in school announcing she was going to go home and use drugs (or was it bang daddy?)

Neither of which Liberaltarians have a problem with

I'm not interested in gaining 'control over everyone'.

Yes. You are. An individual does drugs. Who do they hurt? Themselves. Everything else involved in the drug war stems from the side effects of government trying to keep someone from hurting themselves. The violence, the attendant other forms of criminal activity, the loss of freedom... All are side effects.

Without there being a perp and a victim, there can be no crime. If there is no tort created, why do we need a LAW other than as a mechanism for controlling the behavior of someone else.

So you are either very confused over the basis for your position, or you are a liar.

Juvenile pejoratives and silly red-herrings are no way to win an argument, so I assume you are reduced to just trolling.

Figures.

Interesting how the tyrants and wanna-be Fascists of both the Left & the Right drag in "the children" as human shields when the argument isn't going their way...

But when a 7-year-old girl gets shot to death in the prosecution of "The Drug War", they're suddenly not to blame, and they're NOWHERE to be found...
