IMO what viewers like about Gretchen Carlson is that they identify with her since she comes across as a mom who is concerned with how news events affect her and her family which is the same motivation for most FoxNews viewers.
Dana Perino on the other hand is there to show some skin (am I wrong?) and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, I need my morning eye opener and what she says makes eminent good sense as well. No reason the two can’t come in the same package.
