The notion that ancient Egyptians were black, is based on the bazaar notion that continents are racially homogeneous, which Eurasia certainly disproves. And that notion itself is a rather recent invention of African-American studies.

Adding to the confusion is the assumption that the modern peoples of a region are predominantly the descendants of the ancient peoples of the area. This is quite often completely wrong, such is the case in Greece and North Africa.

History (including science, theology, sociology, medicine, archeology, etc.) is written by the winners.

The liberals, socialists, marxists, fascists, communists, and ethno-centrics are winning the war at present, and continually rewrite history to conform with their opinions, wants, desires, and world view rather than scientific fact.

Regarding your comment, I agree with you. My work has taken me to the Northern African nations of Libya, Algeria and Egypt. From what I have observed Northern Africa is not homogenous with respect to it being “Black”.

Ca 1965, I had a college instructor who was black, for my Western Civ class. Blacks discovered America before Columbus; traded feathers for gold with the Aztecs. Most of the "real" Egyptian Pharaohs were black. A black invented radio, ad nauseum. I didn't finish the semester, but dropped & retook it later from an actual historian.

That was my first experience with "Black Studies", even before there were such programs/departments.

I understand that rather than improving, they have actually gone downhill from there.

Excuse me now; I have to go sacrifice a chicken for dinner...and maybe I'll pick up a watermelon in town for dessert.
