Obama needed the GOP to break their tax pledge. The tax increases Obama was after were essential to his reelection. Without tax increases, he cannot run to the right of the GOP nominee.

Obama has to run on the socialist left... there is no way he can do otherwise.

Not so fast on tax's.....they may have tabled the tax increases as a bartering Chip but looky here...it isn’t over by a long shot.

That's correct. He is already running his campaign on Higher Taxes (actions speak louder than words). He has already gone down from 250K to 200K.

He is also running against any Balanced Budget Amendment and has proven allergic to Budgets.

All the Tea Party and the Republicans need to do is keep O on the ropes, is to remind America of these facts.

“No Tax Increase” might be good for the Republican’s politically, but let’s keep it in mind thate the country’s economy, weak as it is, could not sustain a tax increase.
