Just imagine if Boehner and McConnell had said “CCB or nothing, you have our #” and walked out. I don’t think the GOP ever realized how strong their hand actually was.
That’s what Boehner tried to do but was cut down by the stupid Senate plans by bleeping minority Pubs and McConnell himself. I think Boehner has done as good a job as any - certainly alot better than Newt or Hastert, for God’s sake.
Anything that makes Obummer and the LEFT MAD usually makes me very happy. Esp now that his radical wing is even more pi$$ed at him then all the more :-) :-)
Harry Reid was playing gatekeeper on this as Obama & his children in tha administration were too incompetent to strike a deal. One never knows but I suspect Reid's bottom line was to prevent CC&B. That would have been death to most liberal Democrats in congress over the next 3 election cycles. With this deal they only have Obama at risk.
