These guys better stay away from hot tubs and refrain from using boats and small aircraft.

I have been following this story on free republic.

It would be fabulous if this stuff were true.

I have 0 understanding of any of the science behind it. So I can’t evaluate the story for myself.

So I’m just watching to see if the story goes up the news food chain or into the higher reputation science journals.

Are you sold on this? You think it will be a viable energy source for the future?

I’m thinking toilets might be a little risky, too.

Everything, once - three times fused in the interiors of stars.

Thank God.

I was hopeful about the E-Cat, but the latest I’ve seen seems to make me lean toward it not being legit.

Look up Blacklight Energy - and their invention of another form of hydrogen called the hydrino. Physicists have been killing it and calling it a scam but they have raised tens of millions, and nothing yet commercial.

Be very careful, it if it too good to be true, it probably is. Rossi won’t open up the chamber causing the heat. They can’t explain it. Physicists are staying very far away. There is question to the real amount of heat by a skeptic who looked at it.

When I saw Ampenegro trying to raise money last week my spider sense started tingling. Here it comes, the big ask when they still don’t have a product. This thing is simple but they are hiding enough under the guise of ‘trade secrets’ to sucker your money.

My advice is to take your four consultants; physicist, materials scientist, electrical engineer and mechanical engineer, and have Rossi open the entire ECAT up, under confidentiality of course, and let these people test it for days and weeks. If Rossi keeps refusing to open the machine up - I would run from this ‘investment opportunity’.

If it works, then back the truck up. My sense is that Rossi will play games, and you won’t be shown the inside.

The deniers, skeptics and doubters on FR know more than Rossi, Focardi, Levi, Essén, Kullander, Christos Stremmenos, and a dozen other top scientists do, don’t they, Kevmo?

Unlike the notoriously flawed "cold fusion" experiments using deuterium and palladium conducted by Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann in 1989,

They're still peddling the meme. To date no one has published anything demonstrating a flaw in the P&F experiments that led to their measurement of anomalous, excess energy production.

To most of the world the E-Cat is a mysterious unknown. To the
growing number of scientists and engineers on two continents who have
been working on this new form of low energy nuclear reaction (LENR),
the E-Cat is as proven, reliable, and believable as a Honda Civic.
***But I’m not that sold. I would say this is as proven, reliable, believable and has much more potential than room temperature superconductors.

The owner/author of that website is also a freeper. Maybe he will respond to you bringing in his criticism of the demonstrations.

Or should I say, his future criticism, since his report #3 is not yet produced.

I am all for finding this holy grail of reliable energy. But let’s just say I am from Missouri.

IIRC, he has produced a number of these reactors, and a they have been in use in a number of settings. The people who have used them are sold on them.
Apparently Harvard hot fusion researchers debunked his process. Recently it was revealed they had faked data to show it produced very little or no heat.
Maybe it doesn’t work. I remember my geologist brother and one of his professors in the mid 80’s claiming the idea of “hot spots” was absolutely the most stupid thing they had ever heard of.
