That’s pretty amazing and I’m glad we don’t have those wild and crazy thunderstorms here in Benderville. I don’t know when our corn will be ready for picking but I hope it doesn’t come on all at once as there are 6 rows of 24 plants with 2 ears per stalk = unnnngh

I attended a political “thank you in advance” picnic for our Wisconsin recalls yesterday. Besides brats and burgers, they served roasted whole ears of corn dipped in butter. The corn had been in the field yesterday morning and eaten by yesterday afternoon. It was the most delicious corn I’ve ever eaten. Mmmm-mmm-good. Lucky me, they sent me home with 6 ears which I will re-heat for dinner.

Is yours yellow, white, or yellow and white kernals?

That is what my corn looks like, how do you know when it is ready to pick. This is my first corn growing experience.
