Ah, well, seems I’m even more tired than I thought. Can’t even copy/paste (see correction above at #42). Good night...

You left one group off your list:

Microsoft FanBoyz who get the bulk if their entertainment from slamming Apple fans (regardless if their status as a fanatic or not).

I don’t have a firewire port on my Mac laptop. Problem solved!

Might want to remove the crown and figure out why the handheld couldn’t follow the link.

by plugging another computer into the Mac's FireWire port.

I absolutely agree that others having access to your computer is a significant security risk.

No crown here, just sayin' you ain't got one either, so you can come down off your high horse about 25+ years of programming.

You might want to read two comments further where I corrected the link. Just a bad copy/paste of the URL in the HREF. In any case, it's just my FR profile page, the section on tech background.

It might be much simpler to just start up the computer with A Leopard disk, which lets you change the password, then you can have access to it all.

PC Experts always take the hardest path possible, but the do have more fun, or at least, so they say.

Yes, it’s true. And in fact there are boot-up programs for PC’s that allow you to “recover lost administrator passwords”. I’ve used them myself.

Mac security is a now officially a joke.

Would you like to try hacking into my Mac?
