I wish those things would make it smarter where I work. All of those are just the latest buzzwords to get some moron promoted to the point of the Dilbert Principle. It’s definitely not what you know, but knowing whose butt to kiss and for how long where I work. I just can’t seem to lower my standards enough to fall in line with the idiocy that replaces common sense and intelligence where I work.

I guess this is a reflection of society as a whole and government in its current and many forms (the people get what they elect and expect out of others).
