Plenty, but this one hit wonder wasn’t it. She was the poster child for the big money machine. Give her some imaginary awards, parade her around the media, and cash in.
Her “hit” album had mediocre sales, and her second one was a flop. That is the result of no talent. Defend her all you want...the facts speak for themselves.

Actually, I only knew her as a druggie. I had never heard her sing until she died and somebody posted a link to Utube and I listened to it out of curiosity.

I was pleasantly surprised! I guess I thought she was a rocker...she actually sang...was a "jazz singer." Because of the publicized drug use, I assumed she was a screamer like Joplin.

Tony Bennet had nice things to say about Amy; she sang with him on his album. I think I'll trust his opinion about her talent over yours.
