Well, it could have caused a nasty scrape to your front lower fascia, possibly with the wing tearing off your front license plate holder. Add to it scarfing up your undercarriage, possbily knocking your exhaust loose, and knocking your alignment out.
On the plus side, the next guy he tried that on wouldn't really feel much more than a speed bump.
