I got a masters degree in 2003. None of my classmates ever used a slide rule.

I used a slide rule in hs and college in the 60s. Electronic calculators took over in the early 70s. I have my Dad's slide rule he used at AT&T in the 50s.

I checked on eBay and there are 1200 for sale, LOL.

I remember the scene in Apollo 13, I had to tell the kids what they were doing with those little rulers.
