sitting on the ice cream maker while my dad turned the crank!
We kids used to swear we didn't need any help turning.....until we got tired! Happened everytime. :)

This thread makes me feel older than dirt. In a good way of course. :-)

“110 Film”
LOL! I’m pretty sure I’ve still got a bunch of 110 that hasn’t been developed yet!

My oldest brother was big into Tom Swift. Yeah, when schools taught the ‘’3 Rs’’. Mine was Catholic schools of the ‘60s. These kids have NO IDEA what school was!

Flashcubes
Changing to snow tires (and adding chains)
Saying “Please” and “May I” at stores instead of “I need”
Nursery Rhymes and fairy tales (all being replaced by TV shows)
Streets full of kids playing.
When the anti-socials were locked up and everyone else roamed free.
When a computer card was something you punched holes in, and not a device.
Being able to take stuff apart to see how it worked (and mechanical ability was prized by employers)
Using a screwdriver to adjust your carburetor.
Odd-and-even gas days (don’t miss them, but do miss prices below a dollar)
The bittersweet list goes on.....
