Man dies after suffering 19 Black Widow spider bites

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- A man from Erie, Colo. died after getting bitten by a black widow spider. Health experts say it's a rare for someone to die from black widow bites.
Jeff Seale, 40, noticed 19 bites on his foot two weeks before he died. His sister says he worked at a horse stable, and she wonders if that's where her brother might've encountered the spider...

I don't mind some spiders such as barn spiders and jumping spiders (they are so cute!), but I HATE black widows. Hate hate hate hate hate.
Sounds like you don't have to worry about them. I don't think any will want to live in your garage. :-)

They say we are never more than a couple feet from a spider I believe it. I don't mind either, as long as they are not black widows or brown reculses. Cute little jumping spiders I do not mind.

My b.s. meter is running. A black widow bite is painful. I don't know if I'd be able to stand or sleep and the widow bite me 19 times. I have been bitten once on the hand and it was excruciatingly painful and fast. I wonder if the man didn't have some neurological deficit in his feet or circulatory problem in the foot making it numb.

The only thing I dont do is play the music from Apocalypse Now when I spray in there!
However, I DO leave the really tiny spiders that make a home in my house windows. They actually do a great job catching flies, mosquitoes and gnats and they dont bother me.

You need some mud daubers, especilly the blue ones. Mud daubers eat spiders, and the blue ones primarily eat black widow spiders.
If you hate spiders, don't kill the mud daubers!
