She was judged not guilty and in our system, as it should be, that is that as far as the law is concerned. My daughter’s mother-in-law told the story about her husband and his twin, when they were two. She was having a garage built adjacent to their house. She breifly lost sight of my daughter’s future husband, and discovered, to her dismay, that he was climbing a ladder against the side of partially built garage. Putting his brother on the ground briefly, she scaled the ladder to get my future son-in-law, but when she tried getting down, she found her path blocked by his twin, who had followed up the ladder. If you already know your child is dead, and you are somehow involved, why would you notify police? DUH! What a dumb argument that she didn't notify authorities, OF COURSE SHE WOULDN'T. Maybe she was under death threats to not contact authorities, from the people that actually killed Kaylee.
