Attorney James Polyak is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and Widener University School of Law. In 1994, Mr. Polyak left the District Attorney’s Office for private practice in Reading, Pennsylvania. Since that time, he has represented thousands of clients charged with misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses in Pennsylvania. He has conducted over 100 jury trials including death penalty cases. Mr. Polyak is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Berks County Bar Association, and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is a former Criminal Law Instructor at Reading Area Community College, and has lectured at the Reading Police Academy. He is Co-Chairman of the Berks County Bar Association Criminal Law Committee.
