There’s nothing silly about threatening jurors, reactionary legislation, nor presuming the system worked because it defied public opinion.
Who is doing that? Saying the jury was stupid and lazy is a fact. It is not threatening that jury. If the "system" lets off sicko murderous mothers, then the system is flawed. Stating the obvious is not threat.
Because the Edsel Ford was a bad car and not buying it, even ridiculing it, was that a threat to the auto industry "system"?
