What is this “cruise” button you speak of?

I very rarely use the cruise control - even on long empty stretches of road. I like the feel of the road and the pedal, etc.

My wife OTOH will keep the cruise control on until the last 10 feet (or so it seems!) to the car in front of her - THEN she’ll tap on the brakes.
