A Lynnwood man is trying to draw attention to what he calls the profiling of Muslims by U.S. Government agencies.
Jeff Siddiqui is organizing a protest at the Peace Arch in Blaine on Sunday.
He believes people of his faith are unfairly singled out as terrorists by authorities at airports and U.S. borders A group of supporters plan to join him, carrying banners and signs to encourage lawmakers to take up their cause. "My goal is not so that I'm protected. My goal is that future generations grow up in a country that is levelheaded and can treat everyone with justice and equality, said Siddiqui.
The pro-Muslim demonstration will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Peace Arch border crossing in Blaine.
The only profiling of Muslims this administration is doing is preferential hiring.
That is a fine goal. A better one would be to help us capture the head choppers, bombers and rapists that use your religion as justification for their evil.
Any particular country?
islam is a death cult.
It stands against freedom liberty and civilization.
It has no place in America.
Blaine, Washington, on the U.S.-Canadian border.
Thanks. I never would have guessed it was that Blaine.
Peace Arch Park sits astride the I-5 international border crossing with BC. Not the fastest place to cross over
especially if you are headed to the interior. Sumas is
usually faster.
