9 out of 10 for appearance but expected comfort level = 1.5. I’ll raise you to 25.50 ;-)

HA! Right out from under the noses of those two obnoxious a-holes American Pickers who are from the Quad City area!

Well its kind of a specialty item and I won’t make any money with them sitting here in the store.

I once found a pair of reading glasses on a boulder at 9,300 ft in the Sierra Nevada. Just laying there a big rock with no one around for miles.
I put them on.
They were perfect.
Kept them for years.
Then I lost them.
But it was a great couple of years...

If Chumlee or Corey sit on those chairs they will turn into kindling.

Okay, I’m curious. What is a pair of those worth? Or is this an aesthetic value thing?

"I was nervous somebody else would get there first or that the people who threw them out would change their mind."
He's right about that. Good stuff doesn't last long at the curb. I have an awesome redwood patio set that I caught just as the little old lady was carting it out. Someone stopped as I was loading it into the wagon with interests in it. Also had to hustle to grab a 100% perfect Grundig console that another old lady was throwing out because it collected dust. The township was actually going to charge her money to cart it off. She was glad I stopped.
Lot's of good free stuff out there for the knowledgeable.

The Harrisons actually made a wise business decision. I saw Rick Harrison explaining that it costs nearly a million dollars to license a pawn shop in Vegas so they made a conscious decision to deal exclusively in high dollar and rare items.

well, a NEW one will run ya a thousand bucks - imagine what his are ‘worth’ -
Myself, I wouldn't give one house room - but if I could pick one up for free or next to it - I'd grab ‘er and sell ‘er - or would be a ‘im?

That’s was I was thinking — but this is closer to “Storage Wars.”
What’s next, “Dumpster Wars?”
