Perhaps that’s the CIVILIAN POLICE FORCE obama was talking about.

BINGO! Congratulations, Perdogg! Six minutes to get an identification. That’s what this whole thread was about... To see who would first identify the weapon and see how long it would take them.
I was worried because I found the pic on a liberal website and those guys identified it right away. But we were faster, I think (not sure exactly how long it took them... less than an hour, for sure).
Anyway, omg, can you imagine what stories that gun could tell if it could talk?

Per your perspicacious comment... one guy on that other website said that that was a nice club she was holding, lol.

There is at least
company that still makes the ammo, but the Soviets dumped a lot of German stuff into North Africa after the war. It would not surprise me if there were cases of ammo sitting in warehouse somewhere.
I knew this French guy who used to collect and buy/sell antique firearms who has went to North Africa and bought quite a few of these and other WWII and even WWI weapons over the years. I've also heard that they've been found in Iraq and Afghanistan since we invaded. Afghanistan does not surprise me - some of those people back up in the remote tribal areas are toting 100 year old rifles and are quite happy with them.

MP44's retail in Germany for 2000 EUR which is about $2500 US
There are some other interesting weapons in that photo, is that an M-14?

It shoots a 7.92X33, very difficult to find, but not impossible. I read where this case can be made by shortening an 8mm case.
I wonder if that girl knows that the weapon she carries is probably worth more money than her entire family made that last five years?

Extracted this statement from Wikipedia; “New semi-automatic reproductions of the MKb 42(H), MP 43/1, and StG 44 are being manufactured in Germany today by HZA Kulmbach GmbH[18] in the original 7.92x33mm Kurz chambering.”
So, if reproductions of the STG44 are currently being manufactured, then stands to reason ammo is also being manufactured for it. Too lazy to search for that though :)

You can buy it on the intenet for cheap.
Noticed that a few years ago. I don’t know where or how, but there is a mark for 7,92 Kurtz here.

Where does she get the ammo for the sturmgewher MP44? Syrian military stuff is still around.
Hornady and Prvi Partisan in Serbia offer it here in the US, and the Serb ammo's probably available internationally.
