LOL, the biggest kick we got when I was deployed was watching LA car chases live.
We used to joke that is was so and so brother, and why was he going there.
One of my faves was an multi-hour chase of a little old lady on the I-5 from the north end of the valley to near Bakersfield. Average speed was 25 mph. When she finally pulled over, she berated the cop for how rude he was making all that noise and shining those bright lights at her. I think the word, “Sonny” probably figured in there somewhere.
