I call shenanigans. This is just trying to impose a pattern that was never intended after the fact to sound fancier and more intellectual.

The Professor — No one could accuse him of Pride. He was quite humble and self-effacing, despite his intellect.
Thurston Howell III - Greed. Okay, fine, but he was a stock comic character. ALL millionaires were portrayed that way since the days of vaudeville.
Ginger — Lust. She flaunted it, but that’s not lust. Maybe you could attribute pride to her.
Mrs. Howell — Gluttony. Really? She was thin as a rail. In what episode did she demonstrate gluttony?
The Skipper — Anger. Occasionally, and only at Gilligan, and for good reason. Not his defining feature.
Gilligan — Sloth. Inaccurate. He was always up at dawn fishing, for example. He was just stupid. And that’s hardly a sin.

It was just a good sitcom. No need to read into it what’s not there.
