This is why I will never ever leave the temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest. Temperature extremes are uncommon, and it rains when it is supposed too, and is sunny and warm the other two months.
Oh and we have had one of the coldest and wettist winters on record here. With over 60 feet of snow in the mountains, the last ski resort closes after this weekend. They usualy close in late March.
so, how do you have the worst drought and a bumper crop in corn at the same time????
