Even if they had notes, even if the notes were not doodles (but I’d have to see proof), the next question you have to ask is, how did they find the time to go over and scrutinize 400 pages of anything? They had made up their minds after about 5 hours.

This post from the Greta wire blog concerning notes:

Many reporters commented that they were so surprised that the jurors were not taking notes.... A local tv reporter from Orlando, I believe her name was Kathy Belich (I am from CT but watched this tv stations coverage online) said over and over how few notes these jurors were taking.... she was sitting in the court room and observed this ...the only one that she said was taking notes was an alternate.

Good point. I'm thinking their notes started with testing titles like,

Juror #3, The Casey Anthony Trial
(How I picked my nose through the Prosecution's case)
