So why did that idiot frog driver suddenly swerve right into the riders? Not like he needed to avoid anything.

Ugly day in the Tour. Good thing for Flecha and Hoogerland tomorrow is a rest day. Lot of crashes, Contador ended up on his butt from Carpets colliding with him, some speculation it was intentional, but the saddest was Vinokurov leaving the race after a bad crash. He was racing nicely yesterday and nearly caught the leader in the final section.

Bring on the Pyrenees. Thursday should be interesting with the Hourquette d’Ancizan, Tourmalet and Luz-Ardiden.

Ugly race today. Crashes everywhere. Multiple mountain climbs and fast decents, while the road was still very wet from rain. Very dangerous.

But it seems this year, the routes have taken them on a lot of very narrow roads. Appeared more than usual. There has been a lot of traffic jams with the cars and motorcycles and bikes getting blocked by it all.

I saw the car incident. Brutal. Rider went full airborne backwards and almost upside down into a barbwire fence.

Luckily, the riders come pre-doped, so the medical personnel can stitch 'em up without any further medication. Also, the guy in the red seems awfully interested in that rider's rear end.

To be honest, all those cars & Motorcycles in among the bicycles and handing ut water and jockeying for pictures and not paying attention to trees coming up is a dangerous situation anyway.

Too many different types of vehicles all mixed into a mess.

Yeah the guy could have used the brake, the guy could have hit the tree , but the fact is it’s a bicycle race and they don’t need cars and motorcycles in there in the way.

Take the cars and the motorcycles out of there. Station water breaks, and picture taking along the route.
