This is a policy that I wish more restaurants would adopt. The problem is not so much the children but the parents who refuse to properly control and discipline their children. Personally, my wife and I never had an issue with our children in restaurants, the one and only time they acted up (in an IHOP back in the mid 1990s), we immediately removed them to the car and they ended up having cold Cheerios for breakfast at home.

We go to restaurants a lot and many a meal has been disrupted by unruly children. With the prices being charged, it is not something the customers should have to put up with. Parents with young children should stick to the Chuck E Cheese anyhow.

re: We go to restaurants a lot )))

I go seldom enough to really notice the price changes of a few months. One place that I liked because of the freshness and wholesomeness of the ingredients was Chez Panera Bread. When a half sandwich/soup coffee cost 15.00, I'm outa there. I could buy a steak dinner for two with that if I cook it myself.

Why do people insist on eating out so much? It's so high in calories, probably not prepared with standards of cleanliness that you'd like to see, and now so much more expensive!

Can't the missus cook? Watch the Food Network.
