When are Pittsburgh players going to wise up and stay out of Atlanta?
A valuable lesson I tought my son.
He watched as many of his friends got in trouble by being out and about after hours.
As the old adage goes, nothing good ever happens after 1AM. Respecting that has kept me out of trouble all these years! No matter how much fun that party or social function is at 11, you can be sure that it will start going downhill from there.
I will never understand why these highly-paid athletes (or movie stars) don’t hire a car for the evening, and leave the driving to some sober person who’ll be getting some big bucks for chauffering the star.
Pittsburgh Steelers and former UGA receiver Hines Ward was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol early Saturday on Buford Highway in DeKalb County.According to DeKalb police, Ward was stopped about 2:30 a.m. on Buford Highway near Briarwood Road after an officer noticed his Aston Martin failing to maintain lane and hitting a curb.
Ward failed a field sobriety test, and refused to take a breathalyzer test. He told officers he been at a downtown club, and had had two drinks.
According to police, a passenger in Wards car had not been drinking, and he was allowed to drive the car instead of it being impounded.
Buford Hwy & Briarwood? That's getting near Laz's territory. Could have been leaving the Pink Pony.
near Chamblee ping
Didn’t a similar thing happen to Braves pitcher Derek Lowe this year and that case was dropped. Wonder if same night hapen here.
