..and that falls directly in Casey's lap for her lies which diverted the authorities onto wild goose chases.

Cindy did more than her share of helping there. She drove Tim Miller and Equusearch away by insisting they look here and here but NEVER there or there and insisting they look for a Live Caylee when Cindy knew damn well there was only a Dead Caylee but to find her would mean problems for Cindy's precious spawn, Casey. And George...he did whatever Cindy told him to.

I hope EquiSearch sues both Cindy and Casey and gets a big settlement. Tim Miller was explaining that he had more than 4200 people involved in the search all over the country. Cindy kept feeding him “sightings” in other states, while she prevented him from searching close to home.

It turns out that Miller’s searchers found toys floating in the area where Caylee was found eventually. He halte dht search there because his people were already knee deep in water. Miller said that if they stepped on a body (horse, person, or 4 wheeler) that they would sink it into the mud and they might never be able to recover it. He was going to let the water go down. Then he started getting treated badly by the Anthonys and he pulled out.

George never thanked him for the expense and effort he put into this. Cindy wouldn’t cooperate. Casey wouldn’t cooperate. He overheard George saying “Do I have to talk to the jerk from Texas?”

I can agree to that American....Cindy seems to have been more in denial concerning Casey most her life. Though we understand it's tough for a mom to owe up to that fact. I'm not so sure that Cindy had any other course of action which would straighten Casey out.

It's pretty obvious Casey was holding Caley over Cindy's head....either put up or she'd remove Caley. And it's pretty obvious Casey was jealous of her own daughter.

I have come to the point where I believe Casey and Cindy did have another big fight...and Casey ran off then with Caley......and we know the rest of the story.

But I do think that Cindy had difficulty accepting Caley was dead...and easier to believe her daughter than risk Casey would not come back home with Caley. None of the family members wanted to “upset” Casey any further because they weren't certain Casey wouldn't do something to Caley.
Not sure how far I would go either if it meant my grandchild would return to where it is safe. But this family knew well what they had to do to appease Casey....it's like trying to tame a wild cat...

You can hear her brother and Christine being very direct yet walking gingerly with Casey in their phone call from the jail. I think they all were doing that for a very long time, but with the idea by doing so Casey might reveal where Caley was.........but she was already gone.

I'm not at all surprised Cindy has major control issue....when you live daily with a sociopath you are in alert mode 24/7. And since she already lost Caley I suppose Cindy wasn't about to loose Casey too and would go thru fire to make sure she wasn't found guilt.

As for George...just as rick and others wrote...George thru in the towel long ago...it was just easier than buttingheads with Cindy all the time...the end result we saw in George's suicide letter and on the stand. He surely blames himself...and most men would, for having done so.

Their marriage won't survive this...Caley and Casey were the glue that held it together.
