Someone trying to cover up. Someone trying to protect someone else. Someone ashamed of what they did or didn’t do. The list could go on but the prosecutors didn’t include charges of covering up a crime so what is the point in speculation? Just another indication of screw ups by prosecution.

No, none of that is *reasonable*. It's "reasonable doubt", not "imaginary doubt". It's not enough to be able to think up some contrived ridiculous imaginary scenarios and call that reasonable doubt.
