I think I see what the defense is trying to do but would think double jeopardy for the lies would apply only if the state NOW that they lost the main counts were trying to bring the lying charges anew. Since they were all tried at once, where’s the double jeopardy?

Court finds re: double jeopardy—goes over each lie and effect on law enforcement in tracking down the facts;

Says as a result of those four DISTINCT and SEPARATE lies, law enforecement expended resources for Caylee Marie Anthony, uses her FULL name every time.

Jury spoke loud and clear on counts 4,5,6 & 7.

There being no legal cause to reconsider otherwise, sentences Casey for one year for EACH count, with time credited for time served. Will figure that out with attornies—one hour to sort out time previously served.
