Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.

Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.

The ignorance of the law, our constitution and the history of Western law and US history is shocking to see on Freep.

No, just looking at the real scene outside the courthouse.

Its looks like the mob in the wild west outside the jail ready to lynch someone they think is guilty.

Looks like you want some of that Obama “hope and change”...hopeless is not seeing reality for what it is.
Wait till the economy gets even worse, you’ll see a lot of mobs like that.

I hope EquiSearch sues both Cindy and Casey and gets a big settlement. Tim Miller was explaining that he had more than 4200 people involved in the search all over the country. Cindy kept feeding him “sightings” in other states, while she prevented him from searching close to home.

It turns out that Miller’s searchers found toys floating in the area where Caylee was found eventually. He halte dht search there because his people were already knee deep in water. Miller said that if they stepped on a body (horse, person, or 4 wheeler) that they would sink it into the mud and they might never be able to recover it. He was going to let the water go down. Then he started getting treated badly by the Anthonys and he pulled out.

George never thanked him for the expense and effort he put into this. Cindy wouldn’t cooperate. Casey wouldn’t cooperate. He overheard George saying “Do I have to talk to the jerk from Texas?”

I said upthread the prosecution could not get this in and as a result, it did leave a hole.

You ARE wrong.

Our legal system is NOT about ‘justice” for the victim.
If that were the case, the trial would be over in 2 minutes, just convict whoever the prosecution brings forth. Then someone would be responsible for the death.

Our system is about convicting someone of a charge against them. Sometimes the victim gets justice and the perpetrator is held acccountable. IF the ALLEGED perpetrator is found not guilty, there is no “justice”. That is why we say ‘alleged” until it is PROVEN in a court of law, by a jury.

The person convicted has been charged with a crime —he has violated a statute of our criminal code—and IF he is found guilty, he serves what our laws say is the punishment.

The STATE files the charges in a criminal proceeding...NOT the victim. That is why, whether or not the victim wants to file charges, the STATE does file charges if a crime has been comitted. The crime is related to the victim, but is a crime against the citizens.

He is not a man. Said it before long ago, and it continues to show. He has been beaten down by these two useless broads and exists in a shell. Blow on him. He will fall over. Useless, all of them. And these juror’s that bought an opening argument which is not evidence, and looked for a motive when the state doesn’t require one (although there was one). Someone got paid to lead this crew that shamelessly didn’t abide by the judge’s ruling not to discuss the case out of court. Someone got paid a lot methinks. They didn’t even take their notes to deliberations and they never listened to the mountain of evidence....

What a joke. They can all rot for all I care. All of them in this circus.

>>I see. Let's punish the government, not the killer.<<

For screwing up a case that should have punished the perp? I would certainly think that would be appropriate.

Can you prove it was Casey who put the duct tape there or is that the speculation you wanted to convict on?

The state already proved it. You're just unable to comprehend reasonable doubt, like the "obama voter" jurors.

And very disheartening. It would seem that all the constitutional talk around hear has succumbed to emotionalism.

Thank you for underlining what I firmly believe and posted previously. Casey is a liar, Cindy covered for her early on (cleaning the car, washing Casey's smelly pants, getting a new washing machine right after that) because Cindy knew by July 16th or 17th that Caylee was dead and George is no better than the 2 females. George couldn't have had an affair because he can't do anything without Cindy's permission and instructions on what to do and when.

Or not, I dunno anymore. What’s in it for the victim?

Give me the testimony that proved Casey put the duct tape there.

I did not know about the new washing machine. Did that get into the court testimony, or was that something else that never made it?

I am becoming convinced that George and Cindy were in cahoots with Baez. I think George was willing to take the slings and arrows about abuse and the drowning in order to save Casey. it was all designed to muddy the water and it did just that. The jury basically put George on trial. They’re all sick puppies. Lee was probably thrown under the bus without his knowledge.

Beneath the very, very thin veneer of rational , intelligent, human ability to reason and take appropriate action and be humane lurks the primitive emotions of rage, fear and confusion.

This does not bode well for the coming darkness and even possible economic downward spiral and civil war.

We often in America are very smug about how the German and the Russian citizens could go along with the holocaust...”KILL THE JEWS!!!”....well, how different are we really when things get chaotic and ugly?

I wish I could remember where I read this but in late July or early August of 2008 Cindy and George got a new washer and dryer. I believe people hanging around their house and their neighbors knew this because 1) they saw the appliances delivered and 2) they are kept in the garage. Where ever I was reading this, it seemed that the authorities either didn’t know about it or didn’t care to follow up and go get the old appliances. Several of the posters talked about contacting the authorities about it but I don’t know if it was done. All of the posts were from around July, August, September of 2008.

However, knowing what I know about BOTH George and Cindy Anthony I firmly believe they did get rid of the old appliances for fear that something could be found because Cindy washed Casey’s clothes that were in the car (trunk?) after they picked the car up on July 16th.
