32/33 correct. Got the following wrong:
Question: Which of the following fiscal policy combinations has the federal government most often followed to stimulate economic activity when the economy is in a severe recession?
Your Answer: increasing both taxes and spending
Correct Answer: decreasing taxes and increasing spending
I thought it was asking what the government *really* did, not what it *ought* to do...
Cheers!

32/33 — missed the Gettysburg Address question. I knew the phrase was in there, but I did not realize it was new. I thought Lincoln was referring to an already known phrase.

If you have any comments or questions about the quiz, please email americancivicliteracy@isi.org.
You can consult the following table to see how citizens and elected officials scored on each question.

I’m not even American but I scored 33 out of 33 for 100%. That surprised me but on reflection I give credit to this website. FR has been a great teacher for many years. I have learned a lot from it and all who post here.

Dang, 84.85% - 28/33
Misread a couple of questions. Oh well. What is telling is that, on average, the citizens are more informed on the subject matter than the politicos.
There’s a shocker... Not.
