Your absolutely right..we now live in a society where in order to convict someone of murder you need a camcorder..if Casey ever kills again someone better bring a camcorder to tape it otherwise no one will believe it. Circumstantial cases are decided every single day, no media attention, no cameras in the courtroom, and they are convicted every single day. Hey considering what happened today I am SHOCKED that Scott Peterson was found guilty, especially in my liberal state..I am shocked he did not walk, he, after all is so darn cute why would anyone think he is a murderer.
Some people keep on talking about “Mob rules” PLEASE, no mob was after Casey Anthony..no one had pitch forks asking for her hanging, people had opinions on this case, yes, but no one is outside yelling in the streets for her execution.
We live in a CSI Miami world, people want video evidence in order to believe someone is guilty of murder. If Charlie Manson had been accused of today what he was convicted of back then he probably would have walked..same with Diane Downs, hey she claimed she was abused by daddy too

You must have watched a different news program than the one I saw with people screaming, “murderer” and “kill her”. Her lawyer said they had received numerous death threats. This was on ABC Nightline.
