We bought a farm in central Kentucky two weeks before Urkel was elected. We moved most of our stuff out there last year. We’re driving one of our cars out there this weekend stuffed with most of the rest of our stuff. If the interview goes well, we’ll drive the other car out in a few weeks. I’ve already listed and sold a lot on CL. The closer the date comes, the lower the price to get rid of it.
We’re also working on putting up a sheet metal building in the 2500 sq. ft. range to use as a tool. We can even move our kids out there to live when TSHTF, assuming they can get there.
we have family out in Johnson County(from what I remember) Kentucky and he has a very large chunk of land he purchased with his retirement money. It’s real nice from what I’ve seen and he’s invited us out there if we need to go.
The trick is to find a car that can get us there on one tank.
