“”The prosecutor description of what an AMAZING MOTHER Casey was is textbook excellent.””
I stepped away from the TV for just a few minutes and missed that. What did she say? I saw the words at the bottom of the screen when I returned to the TV that said, “2 seconds of interaction” didn’t make a good mother or something of that sort.
I asked on the thread last night had anyone ever testified to seeing Casey performing any of the mundane tasks (10-11 that I listed) that mothers usually perform that would attest to just what a great loving and devoted mother she was....She gave birth and had HER picture taken with Caylee - WOW! Mallory is the one who said she was a “great” mom and Baez got it in in his closing remarks. He called her “devoted.” Guess it wasn’t difficult to pull the wool over his eyes.
The prosecutor’s statement about an amazing mother was pretty breathtaking. She did note that the only testimony about Casey’s being an ‘amazing mother’ was from a childless contemporary of Casey’s.
Then she went on to repeat a story told by one of the (expert?) witnesses about a mother who’d lost her child. The first time there was a severe thunderstorm after her child died and was buried, that mother wanted to go to her child’s grave because the child had never before been alone during a storm. THAT, she said, is an ‘amazing mother,’ who wanted to protect her child, even in death.
The closing today was so intense, and extremely well and professionally done, I am still somewhat breathless.
