ya know, pre law is a very loose term. It could easily mean a student getting a bachelor’s degree in political science but wants to go to law school....eventually.

You are correct CA - there isn't a degree called "pre law" it us usually just a list of suggested courses in the pursuit of an undergrad degree in something like political science or English - something useful for a future attempt at law school.

When I was in school and someone said they were pre-med or pre-law, it meant they hadn't decided on a major yet - but wanted to be sure others knew what they wanted to do. ;^)
