Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
Why if this is a slam dunk as you guys say,the prosecutor is still blabbing away.
The way she spoke to her family! Like a Little Hitler - ordering them around and berating them. And it’s pretty clear they were on to her lies and worried that SHE was responsible for the kid’s disappearance. If this phone call doesn’t do her in, nothing will.
“”So glad the prosecutor is going after Dr. Spitz””
Read up on Spitz. He whitewashed the Kennedy assassination investigation AND in the OJ civil trial. He was proud of saying he’d worked on the OJ case but you had to research to find out it was the civil trial not the criminal trial. I watched every minute of the OJ trial and had argued with people recently that he had NEVER appeared in the murder trial.
He said that the murderer of Nicole and Ron Goldman wouldn’t have had any blood on them! Spitz is a big jerk IMO.
Amazing closing shot.
Just wow
BRAVO
Wow I have to catch up reading. I have been so engrossed in prosecution
How cold of you.
Because that's their job.
Are you nuts? Seriously? Did you hear that phone call?
Don’t waste your breath, sweetheart. Just pray with me that there is not one on that jury.
How did George Anthony know to bring gasoline to the Tow Yard, and how did he know to tell Simon Birch that the car had been at Amscot for 3 days?
Ok - how did George and Cindy know how much cash, or that they HAD to take cash to the Tow Yard to retrieve the car? Cindy was at work, George went to the post office to pick up the certified letter. When he read it, he went to Johnson's to see what was going on. I assume the front office person who told him the amount needed to release the vehicle also told him where it was towed from. He said he called them. He then called Cindy and she met him at the house to drive him to retrieve the car.
Who here would know you must have cash or even how much to take without contacting them first? I don't have a link but read this last night - I didn't assume that he went there first, it was reported he did. He also apologized to Simon (per Simon's own words) for Cindy being so loud and complaining about the cost.
I don't think it is odd at all that George didn't call the police due to the smell. He said he was relieved to know neither body was in the trunk so he assumed both girls were ok - at least he knew Casey was because Cindy had been in touch with her. He had just started a new job the day before - how many of us, when faced with a very difficult child who had lied and lied over the years, would have automatically assumed she had killed your grandchild and taken the chance of losing a brand new job?
Cindy went back to work, he went to work - the "sh#t" hit the fan later that day.
Instruction time from the judge.
Last night that Wendy Murphy was on Geraldo and threw out that theory, out of nowhere. So of course the echo chamber of the internet has it spread far and wide with no foundation. Pure speculation. And shame on Murphy, but she’s always been a little whacky for someone supposedly so brilliant.
So, any predictions on how soon the jury will come back with a verdict?
It is their job to finish the case. Do you only half way do your job?
In their heart of hearts, they knew what their daughter was. If she talked like this to them while being filmed/recorded, you know it was worse when she knew noone could hear.
Yes, before July 7th. A juror has a European vacation scheduled and I believe is leaving that day.
I’m sorry to admit I lost it when she talked about George building her a little mailbox. Poor man. I hope he finds some sort of happiness in the future. Right after he beats up the oily Jose Baez.
BRAVO, indeed!!
